Live Screen
Overview
The Live screen is the section of platform that allows users to view live video content, playing a crucial role in facilitating real-time communication and engagement, letting users to connect and participate in live events remotely.
To access the Live screen, the user clicks Live in the navigation bar at the top of the page.
Billboard
A carousel section that is formed by a banner image, a title, a description and a button. Autoplay is on by default and the time interval is set to 5 seconds.
Item | Description |

Banner | The billboard image that is uploaded by the admin in the Video Portal. It uses a banner image for the web app and a cover image for the mobile versions (web and app). |
Title | The billboard title that is created in the Video Portal. |
Description | The billboard description that is created in the Video Portal. |
Buttons | The billboard call to action that is created in the Video Portal. Takes user to the link assigned to the button (e.g.: category, post, live event or external link). |
Carousel indicator | Indicates how many slides are available in the carousel. Uses the indicator color of the Channel. Clicking on one of the rectangles takes user to that position of the billboard carousel. |
Live Events Section
This section displays all the live events that are Live (i.e. events that are happening right now) in chronological order as default. This section is refreshed every 20 seconds so users don't miss out any live events.
The name of the section may vary by platform as it is customizable.
Actions
- Clicking on the arrows (next and previous) shows the next/previous thumbnail.
- Clicking on a thumbnail takes the user to that specific Live event detail screen.
- Hovering the mouse over a thumbnail displays additional information about that live event.
Upcoming Events Section
This is a dedicated section that displays all the upcoming or planned live events in chronological order. Users can view the scheduled events including their dates, times, and relevant details. It helps users stay informed about the timing and content of events they may be interested in, enabling them to mark their calendars, set reminders, or register in advance.
The name of the section may vary by platform as it is customizable.

Past Events Section
This section displays previously conducted live events that have been recorded and made available for on-demand viewing, allowing users to access and watch the recorded version at their convenience.

Live Event Accessibility Settings
Each Live Event has its own accessibility setting:
- Public - registration and login are not required to access the live event.
- Exclusive - a login is required to gain access. In this case the user must have an account to access the live event.
- Password Required - the user must enter a password to gain access.
- Paywall - a product is assigned to the live event. The user must make a purchase to access it.
