Team Members
Level of Permission (Roles)
Available to Tenant, Super Admin and Admin users.
Overview
The team members section contains the details and information of the administrative users of the Platform. It is a dedicated area where administrators can view, add, edit, and remove team members and their associated roles.
This section displays a list of administrative users with avatar, email, role, and action buttons: edit and delete. There is a search at the top of the screen that helps you to look for a specific Team Member.
Add Team Member
To add a new team member, an administrative user can click on the Add Team Member button. A new screen will be displayed.
Select a member by clicking on the Select Member button. A pop up will be displayed showing all the registered users of the Organization. Click on the user you want to make an administrative user.
The selected user's email will be displayed under Member Selected.
All administrative users must have a role assigned to them. If you want to know more about Roles & permissions, click here. Select an available role from the dropdown:
- A user can only have 1 assigned role;
- A user cannot assign a role higher than the one he has to another user:
- Example 1: if my user has a "Content Manager" role, I can only assign a "Content Manager" role to another user;
- Example 2: if my user has an "Admin" role, I can assign one the following roles to another user:
- Admin
- Content Manager
- Billing Analyst
- Analytics Specialist
All channel-specific roles must have a channel associated with it. Admin, Content Manager, Billing Analyst and Analytics Specialist are all channel-specific roles, therefore they must have at least one channel.
A user cannot give access to a channel that he doesn't have access to. For example, if a user has an "Admin" role assigned to Channel A, he can only assign roles associated with Channel A.
A "Tenant" role cannot be assigned, it is a role that is earned when the Organization is created. For this reason, the "Tenant" role is never displayed in the Role dropdown.
A "Super Admin" role can be assigned by a Tenant user or another Super Admin user. "Super Admin" roles are not channel-specific.
Upon selecting a member, a role and a channel (if needed), the new Team Member is created.
Edit Team Member
You can edit a Team Member by clicking on the 3 dots and the pencil icon, however you are not able to edit your own user (the 3 dots action button will not be displayed) and you are not able to edit a user that has a role higher than your role.
Delete Team Member
Deleting a Team Member does not delete the user from the platform. It simply deletes the user from the Team Member section, meaning the user will no longer be an administrative user.
You can delete a Team Member by clicking on the 3 dots and the trash icon. For security reasons, you are not able to delete your own user as well as a user that has a role higher than your role.
